Escaping the Wheel

For aeons they had waited, trapped in the wheel of the universe, in the heart of reality itself, in an endless intricate game of lives and destinies. They had waited, and prepared, and planned. And then they found a hole. And they escaped, burning and shining like forgotten stars. They left the frame of their prison. They were going home.
